Supermodel Cindy Crawford has publicly mourned the loss of her son, Presley Gerber, who died at the age of 27. According to MyJoyOnline, Crawford shared a black-and-white photograph of her son on Instagram, describing the family as "beyond heartbroken" by the news. The post included a personal reflection on Presley’s character, noting that he was a sweet soul who loved and was loved, and expressing pride in how he navigated the world with kindness and vulnerability.

The 27-year-old passed away on 20 September at a rehabilitation facility in California. MyJoyOnline reported that police officials are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has listed the case as pending additional investigation, while the Santa Monica Police Department indicated there is no current sign of foul play. Presley had followed in the footsteps of his mother and younger sister, Kaia, as a professional model, making his debut on the catwalk for the Italian fashion label Moschino at the age of 16.

In her tribute, Crawford expressed gratitude for the support received from friends and strangers, stating the family felt blessed to have had Presley in their lives for 27 years. She signed the message as Mom, Dad, and Kaia, accompanied by an emoji of angel wings. The post also included the specific dates of his birth and death. Presley’s father, Rande Gerber, is a businessman known for co-founding the Casamigos tequila brand with George Clooney.

Presley’s sister, Kaia Gerber, also dedicated a post to her brother on Sunday. Her tribute included a video of the siblings dancing as children and a photo of them near the ocean. She shared a four-page letter typed on a blue background, in which she recalled how Presley had gone first when she was afraid of getting her ears pierced. Kaia wrote that holding the earring taken from his body reminded her that it belonged to him, and that she is learning how to love him when she cannot see him.

In recent years, Presley had been open about his mental health and drug use, frequently posting videos on Instagram for a series he called "Mental Health Mondays." His death marks a significant moment for the Gerber family, who have now shared their grief with the public through these detailed tributes.
