Abu Dhabi has established a new private company, TAMM Global, to license its artificial intelligence government platform to international administrations. According to Khaleej Times, the Department of Government Enablement announced the entity on Thursday, marking the first time the technology will be available outside the United Arab Emirates. The platform, known as TAMM, was originally launched in 2005 as a unified digital government interface for the emirate.
The system now supports more than 1,200 services for 4.7 million users, ranging from business registration to vehicle renewals. Khaleej Times reported that the integration of AI has improved customer satisfaction scores to 94.5 percent, up from 78 percent before the technology was adopted, while reducing service delivery costs by 30 percent. The newest feature, AutoGov, operates by automatically renewing licenses, settling payments, and booking healthcare appointments without requiring user login. Since its launch last year, this automated function has saved residents an estimated 17 million dirhams in late fees and returned 54 million hours to individuals and businesses.
The department chairman stated that the initiative makes capabilities developed in Abu Dhabi available to governments seeking better outcomes. The director general noted that the system changes the relationship between citizens and the state by removing the need for proactive requests. TAMM Global will offer the underlying system design, ready-made administrative modules, and setup guidance, which can be customized for local languages, laws, and data sovereignty requirements.
The international expansion follows recent recognition of the platform's efficiency. Khaleej Times noted that TAMM won the best e-Government initiative award at the UN-backed WSIS Prizes last year and secured a regional government innovation prize from Gartner in 2026. While no specific foreign government has been named as an initial customer, the next version of the platform, TAMM 5.0, is expected to launch in December 2026.
